The TESVOLT storage calculator supports commercial operators from small companies to industrial enterprises in the selection of a suitable storage system. The calculator determines the optimal storage system by entering the annual power consumption, the nominal power of the photovoltaic installation and the desired applications. Energy and power are then adjusted exactly to the requirements.
The TESVOLT storage calculator was developed primarily for estimating the levels of self-consumption and self-sufficiency that can be achieved with PV storage systems. Applications beyond self-consumption optimisation must be designed separately.
It also determines how much electricity can be fed into the utility grid and how much electricity can be drawn from the utility grid.
The TESVOLT storage calculator can be used to estimate the contribution that the respective PV storage system makes toward reducing the CO2 emissions of the German power plant fleet.
