Lutherstadt Wittenberg, 6 February 2024 – In 2022, one in every two battery storage systems in Germany’s commercial segment were supplied by TESVOLT. Now, the Wittenberg-based manufacturer aims to conquer the Italian market. TESVOLT will use a Milan office to facilitate market access, with on-site training for installation partners. TESVOLT will present its battery storage system for commercial and industrial use at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo in Rimini.
Growing storage system market in Italy

The right support for installers
“One of our key insights is that the best storage system is worthless if we don’t have the right support for our installation partners,” says Andrea Menini, TESVOLT Area Manager for Italy, who is based in Milan. “That’s why we started offering digital options for all our specialist partner services years ago. But we also provide assistance directly on site if problems arise – quickly and pragmatically. That’s what sets us apart from many other manufacturers.”
Installers can receive online training on TESVOLT energy storage systems in the TESVOLT Partner Portal. They can also plan their storage projects, configure their systems and place their orders online. Similarly, the storage system can be commissioned entirely digitally via an app; all the installer has to do is scan in the components on site using QR codes. All the workflows are explained in the Partner Portal using how-to videos, with personal consultations also available via the hotline.
Energy storage system solution for every application
TESVOLT battery storage systems are optimised for the needs of commercial operators – from the corner bakery to large manufacturing companies and industrial producers. They are characterised by above-average safety and lifespan and provide a solution for every application – standard applications, such as self-consumption optimisation and peak shaving, or for running multiple applications in parallel.
TESVOLT customers can combine almost any applications, for example optimising self-consumption while simultaneously controlling generators and consumers. Or the forecast-based charging of electric vehicles with concurrent zero feed-in.
